Parker & McConkie Attorney Stephanie Pitcher Wins Re-Election To Utah State Senate

Pitcher will represent Utah’s District 14 for a second term.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Parker & McConkie, a Utah-based personal injury and wrongful death law firm, would like to congratulate attorney Stephanie Pitcher on winning her re-election to the Utah State Senate. Pitcher (D-UT) has won a second four-year term representing Utah’s 14th senatorial district. She ran unopposed in the general election after winning her primary election in June.

Portions of southeast Salt Lake City, Millcreek, Holladay, Murray, and Cottonwood Heights compose District-14. Pitcher has represented District-14 since 2023 after having previously served in the Utah State House from 2019–2023.

In her first term as a state senator, Pitcher sponsored successful legislation aimed at protecting the rights of victims of crimes, judicial reform, reinforcing privacy rights for citizens on private property, improving air quality, and ending the state’s cash bail system.

Prior to working for Parker & McConkie, Pitcher served as a felony prosecutor with the Davis County Attorney’s Office and as Associate City Prosecutor for Salt Lake City. She also clerked for the Utah State Courts.

Pitcher is a mother of three and is also a competitive chess player. She also dedicates her time volunteering in her district’s public schools.
